This week has been kind of Blah..... I am still recovering from my cold which caused me not to really enjoy my run this last Saturday. I am also not used to my new interval for the group I am running with. I am practicing with the new interval (the amount of time running vs. walking) this week to see if I can get use to it. I have always run (sounds like I have been doing it forever.... actually the last 6 months or so....) with the 30 second run / 45 second walk. I am now doing 1 minute run / 1 minute walk. This may not sound very different but if you think about it, I am running for twice as long. This old body is not taking to this kindly.. :) But I am trying it. If it does not feel right, I will revert to my old interval on our next long run - 23 Miles!!!!! and continue on.
Yes - my plan is to try and run the marathon in February.... I want to see how far I can get this year becasue I am not sure if I will want to try to run that far in the future. .....
