Good golly Miss Molly - Great balls of fire,
We are running 20 miles on our feet not in a car with 4
things called a tire.
You heard me correctly – did not miss a thing,
Some have done this before – others it is the first time training.
We will start from First Place Sports and run down San
Jose,
Hoping the coolers are filled with Sparkling Perrier.
Across the Acosta Bridge not once but twice,
My first thought when I saw this was whoever planned the
route is not nice!
But of course this will be a great adventure for us all,
I say this as I type since I am only running the half I
did just recall.
My hat is off to all who are going to run the full this
year,
Especially to Pam May who you all know is my wife, my
dear.
When you are out there floating along on your feet,
Don’t forget to fuel regularly so your muscle don’t
become obsolete.
Run your training pace and not any faster,
This way you will avoid a disaster.
Be proud, talk to each other and don’t forget to
recommit,
